The new HYDAC CS 1500 is the next generation of industry-proven fluid monitoring sensors, designed to help detect and prevent fluid-related system failures caused by solid contamination. Built on over 30 years of expertise in fluid monitoring and shaped by evolving market demands, the CS 1500 combines trusted performance with advanced innovation. Like its predecessor, it delivers industry-standard measurements in accordance with ISO 4406, SAE, and NAS, while offering exceptional quality and reliability—engineered and made in Germany.

 

Contamination Sensor - CS1500 series

The ContaminationSensor CS1500 is used to continuously monitor the particle contamination in fluids. The cleanliness class results can be displayed according to ISO/SAE or ISO/NAS classifications. Using the latest technologies, combined with more than 20 years of tried-and-tested engineering, we can now provide the user with a small and robust sensor. Operating the sensor with mobile terminal devices is easy and intuitive thanks to the new digital interface.

We are now also expanding its field of application with new industry-standard communication interfaces.

Fluid Monitoring Modules- FMM CS 1500 series

The FluidMonitoring Module FMM series combines the condition monitoring products ContaminationSensor CS 1500 and AquaSensor AS 1000 or HYDACLab 1400 from HYDAC in one system. It is a robust and stationary system that enables the user to perform online measurement of:

  • Solid contamination
  • Water content (e.g. to detect leakages) in hydraulic and lubricant fluids.
  • Oil condition (e.g. relative change in the electrical conductivity and dielectric constant)

The blocks of the FMM series have all the necessary connections and are therefore easy to integrate into existing hydraulic circuits.

Versions for filter-cooler/heater circuits, pressure and high-pressure applications are available to the user.
