Mobile controllers and I/O modules

CODESYS Mobile Machine Controllers & I/O Modules

HYDAC / TTControl offers state of the art Electronic Control Units and I/O modules.

Mobile Machine Controllers

HYDAC offers TTControl mobile machine controllers that can be operated in conjunction with heavy-duty equipment of all shapes and sizes. The electronic control units are safety certified CODESYS compatible controllers as well as cost-effective, high-performance mid-size ECUs designed for applications that need to function reliably under harsh environmental conditions. These CODESYS controllers include various CAN channels, have maximum durability and provide users with full control of the machine.

Features of Mobile Machine Controllers

  • Extensive operating temperature range between -40°C and 105°C
  • Hardware can be promptly programmed using CODESYS
  • High shock and vibration resistance level due to the incorporated soft gel substance
  • Adheres to CE mark per 2014/30/EU (EN 61326-1 and EN 60945)
  • Adheres to ISO 13766
  • Fully-sealed IP67/IP69K protected enclosure
  • Universal inputs and software-selectable current-regulated PWM outputs

I/O Modules

Input/Output (I/O) modules are devices that are designed to be a bridge that connects a computer system with an I/O or peripheral device, such as a printer, scanner, webcam or other device. It’s imperative that an I/O module is used, as data cannot otherwise be interpreted and transferred between processors and peripheral devices. The I/O modules are also safety certified I/O and protected by a compact, automotive-style housing suited to mobile applications in harsh environments. General purpose I/O modules can also be used for different demands, meeting the needs of the off-highway and mobile machinery markets.

Functions of an I/O Module

  • Processor communication: Multiple tasks can be completed while this process is taking place. This includes data being transferred between a processor and an I/O module, receiving and decoding commands sent from the processor, making current status reports, and the I/O module’s capacity to recognise its own specific address.
  • Device communication: General device communications, such as status reports.
  • Control and timing: I/O modules can control the flow of data linking a computer’s internal resources to any kind of connected external device.
  • Data buffering: Managing the rate of the speed of transmitting data between the processor and memory and peripheral devices.
  • Error detection: Both mechanical errors and data related errors will be identified and reported on to the processor.
