HYDAC Australia Opens New State-of-the-Art Facilities in Melbourne

HYDAC Australia proudly announces the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art facilities, Plants 5 and 6, located in Laverton North, Melbourne. This significant expansion marks another milestone in HYDAC’s ongoing investment in the Australian manufacturing industry.

The new facilities include a dedicated training centre, a research and development hub, and a thermal systems production facility. These additions strengthen HYDAC’s capability to engineer, manufacture, and test advanced hydraulic and automation systems locally.

Together with recent upgrades to Plants 1 to 4, the expansion enhances HYDAC’s capacity for mobile hydraulic system production and extends its central warehouse to ensure faster delivery and improved local stock availability.

“HYDAC’s investment represents one of the most unique and forward-thinking developments in Australian manufacturing,” said Mr. Mark Keen, Managing Director of HYDAC Australia. “With these new facilities, we continue to lead innovation in hydraulic, automation, control, and thermal management.”

Guests attending the grand opening had the opportunity to explore the full HYDAC Melbourne campus, including guided plant tours, demonstrations of new system design software and Mixed Reality training.

This expansion highlights HYDAC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening local manufacturing capabilities, creating advanced engineering opportunities, and supporting Australia’s industrial growth.”
